Lucille J. Dindoffer, 89, of Lambertville, MI, died Saturday, February 25, 2017,  at Aspen Grove Assisted Living.  Born October 6, 1927, in Milan, MI, she was the daughter of Roscoe and Nancy (Preston) Rendel. She married Walter Dindoffer on February 22, 1947. He preceded her in death on Sept. 4, 2006. Lucille was an Administrative Assistant for Sears (Westgate in Toledo and prior to that at Oakland Mall in Troy, MI) for 26 years retiring in 1990.   She served on the Monroe County Election Canvassing Board for over 15 years, was a founding member of the American Bohemian Club and was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church, Toledo, Ohio. Lucille loved bowling, horseback riding and became an accomplished artist through her many art classes and membership in the Bedford Artist Club. She also loved spending time at the family cabin, in Alger County, MI.

Lucille is survived by her loving children: Fredrick (Joan) Dindoffer, Christina (Dave) Harro, Janice (William) Hunt, Walter (Tamara) Dindoffer and Timothy (DeLynn) Dindoffer;  grandchildren: Robert, Michael and David Dindoffer; Joseph Harro; Diane, Stephen and Gregory Hunt; Sarah Anderson, Rachel Adkins and Emily Hervey; and Elizabeth, Benjamin, Rebekah and Samuel Dindoffer; 7 great-grandchildren and other relatives and friends.

She was also preceded in death by her brothers, George and Leland Rendel and sisters, Dorothy Rendel, Ruth Reum, Rose Rhora, Mildred Kemp-Rowe and Margaret Schechter.

Visitation will be from 3-8 pm Friday, March 3, 2017, at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman), Temperance, MI. Funeral services will be Saturday, March 4, 2017
at 11:00 am at Emmanuel Baptist Church, 4207 W Laskey Rd, Toledo, OH 43623, where she will lie in state after 10:00 am. Interment will follow at Marble Park Cemetery, Milan, MI. Memorials may be made to Emmanuel Baptist Church. www.pawlakfuneralhome.com
